Abstract
[Objective] To explore the clinical value and curative effect of nursing intervention measures for patients with spinal tuberculosis during perioperative period on the changes of serum prealbumin level. [Methods] 82 patients with spinal tuberculosis admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2020 were selected. Patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number method, each including 41 patients. Patients in the control group received routine nursing intervention, while patients in the observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention. The compliance rate and satisfaction of patients with medical orders were counted, and the changes of serum prealbumin level and SGA score at admission and before operation were dynamically observed. [Results] The compliance of patients in the observation group to the nutrition scheme was 92.68%,which was higher than 73.17% in the control group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group during hospitalization was 97.56%,significantly higher than 80.49% of the control group (P<0.05). The average value of serum prealbumin before operation in the two groups was higher than that at admission, but the increase of serum prealbumin level in the observation group was greater than that in the control group (P<0.05). The SGA scores of the two groups before operation were higher than those at admission, but the improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Comprehensive nursing intervention for patients with spinal tuberculosis can effectively improve the level of serum prealbumin and nutritional status score and has a positive impact on reducing postoperative complications in patients with spinal tuberculosis.
