Abstract
|
[Objective] This study deeply analyzes and summarizes the status of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) rehabilitation in medical institutions of Tianjin, in order to provide a reliable basis for the development planning of TCM rehabilitation in Tianjin during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.[Methods] The Department of TCM of Commission and Tianjin TCM Rehabilitation Center conducted a survey on the construction of TCM rehabilitation in medical institutions at all levels through a network questionnaire.[Results] A total of 290 medical institutions were investigated in this survey, among which 6(100%) and 7(58%) public tertiary and secondary TCM medical institutions set up rehabilitation departments respectively. Compared with the national requirements, there was a certain gap between the hardware and software input of the rehabilitation department, the outpatient area of the department, the setting of the ward, the configuration of rehabilitation instruments and equipment, and the personnel configuration of the department. The clinical direction was mainly orthopedic rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation, and there were 23 and 16 TCM rehabilitation techniques carried out by the third-level and second-level TCM medical institutions respectively.[Conclusion] The overall rehabilitation of Tianjin TCM medical institutions has been developing steadily and continuously. However, there are still many problems to be solved, such as the shortage of TCM rehabilitation medical resources, the unsound medical team structure, the limited clinical direction and diseases, and the unsound TCM rehabilitation medical service system. We should strengthen the construction of TCM rehabilitation medical service system and personnel training from the aspects of top-level design, financial investment and network construction, so as to promote the comprehensive improvement of the city's TCM rehabilitation service ability. |
