Abstract

Latent pathogen is a kind of disease that hidden in the body and does not onset immediately. It is induced by new external pathogenic factors, eating disorders, and poor emotions. Chronic cough usually refers to the course of more than 8 weeks of cough, cough as the main or only symptom, chest imaging with no obvious abnormalities. There is a close relationship between latent pathogen and chronic cough. In clinic, Professor SUN Jie often treats chronic cough by using the theory of latent pathogen. The author collected and sorted out the medical records of Professor SUN Jie's treatment of chronic cough, analyzed and sumed up the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic cough caused by latent pathogen, and summarized the experience of Professor SUN's treatment of chronic cough. |
