Abstract
|
[Objective] To study the effect of fire needle combined with acupoint catgut embedding on Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) and Fugl Meyer assessment (FMA) in stroke patients with upper limb spasm. [Methods] In this paper,120 cases of apoplectic upper limb spasticity in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Heijongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to February 2021 were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with fire acupuncture, while the treatment group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding on the basis of fire acupuncture in the control group. The two groups were treated for 4 weeks. MAS,FMA,China Stroke Scale (CSS),gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA),glycine (Gly),self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and activities of daily living (ADL) were detected, and the treatment effect was statistically analyzed. [Results] After treatment,CSS and SAS scores were lower than before treatment,FMA,Gly,GABA,ADL scores were higher than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);after treatment, the MAS scores of treatment group were better than those of control group,CSS and SAS scores were lower than those of control group. The scores of FMA,Gly,GABA,ADL and effective rate in the treatment group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). [Conclusion] Fire needle combined with acupoint catgut embedding has obvious effect on spasticity and upper limb motor function of stroke patients with upper limb spasm, which can reduce the degree of spasticity and improve the motor function of upper limb. |
