[Objective] To observe the curative effect of external use of traditional Chinese medicine preparations in the treatment of stage Ⅱ pressure ulcers in children with traumatic fractures after plaster or splint fixation.[Methods] The wound healing time and wound scores of children who visited our hospital from January 2018 to July 2019 were analyzed and studied. The wound healing time, healing rate, and wound scores of 3, 7 and 10 days after treatment were statistically analyzed for a total of 80 children treated with traditional Chinese medicine and conventional dressing changes.[Results] The average healing time of the Chinese medicine treatment group was (10.38±2.25) d, and the average healing time of the control group was(15.42±4.53) d. The average healing time of the Chinese medicine treatment group was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05). The average wound scores of the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group were (20.73±2.95) points, (15.33±2.05) points, and (11.88±3.02) points at 3, 7 and 10 days after treatment, and the control group was (23.28±1.97) points, (20.61±2.86) points, (17.17±2.19) points, there was improved better of the scores of the Chinese medicine treatment group than the control group(P<0.05).[Conclusion] Traditional Chinese medicinal preparations are effective and feasible as a method to treat stage Ⅱ pressure ulcers in children caused by plaster or splint fixation after traumatic fractures. |
