Abstract
|
This article systematically describes Professor WANG Jingui's thoughts on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome differentiation and experience of drug administration for the treatment of spasmodic torticollis. In terms of etiology and pathogenesis, Professor WANG believes that there are five types of symptoms, namely, rheumatism attacking the surface, exuberant heat in Yangming, qi depression and mental injury, wind-phlegm upheaval, and deficiency of yin and blood, and the disease is located in the tendons and veins and is closely related to the heart, spleen, liver and kidney. The treatment is based on the overall treatment idea of "regulating the organs with prescriptions and medicines and opening up the meridians with acupuncture and massage", which has proven to be clinically effective. |
