| Abstract

| Lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors with the highest morbidity and mortality in my country and the world. Clinically,Western medicine such as surgery,radiotherapy and chemotherapy are the main treatments,but the median survival time has not been significantly prolonged. Most scholars believe that traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in adjuvant treatment of lung cancer. Oleanolic acid(OA),as one of the active ingredients of the traditional Chinese medicine Ligustrum lucidum,has a significant effect in the treatment of lung cancer. The mechanism of action involves regulating tumor cell proliferation,apoptosis and cycle;affecting tumor angiogenesis and immunity response;regulate tumorigenesis-related signaling molecules,such as NF-κB,STAT3 pathway,etc. In addition,based on the original oleanolic acid,drug molecules with better antitumor properties can be obtained through different structural modifications. Therefore,oleanolic acid may play an important role in the treatment of lung cancer. This paper will review the characteristics and antitumor mechanism of oleanolic acid,so as to provide theoretical reference for its clinical application. |
