Abstract
    Objective To analyze the distribution characteristics of modern literatureof traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) research treated with spasmodic torticollisin nearly 30 years, by bibliometrics to study the research trend, and to find out the existing defects and propose the suggests about the present research.Methods Using the Bradford literature research methods of discrete rate analysis to analyzethe research literature of spasmodic torticollis with TCM in 1990 to 2020 from CNKI Journal Full-text, Wanfang Journal Papers Database. The different aspects of literature time, journal distribution, authors and institutions distribution, literature types, source journal categories, treatment were analyzed.Results The number of literature on TCM research of spastic torticollis showed a fluctuating and increased trend in 1990 to 2020. The main types of articles included case reports and experience summary. Most of the authors on the study of TCM on spasmodic torticollis were from the north of China. The literature in the periodical took the general periodical as the core subject. Acupuncture was the most common treatment in the literature.Conclusion There were shortages of the study of spasmodic torticollis treated by TCM methods in the depth, extent, dimension, while the literature numbers of spasmodic torticollis treated by TCM methods has the increased the trend, and there was relatively blank in innovative fields and research directions, which showed the good advance of spasmodic torticollis research treated by TCM and was worthy of deep research.
