Abstract
|
Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a mental disorder with anxiety as the main manifestation. Constipation is a common concomitant symptom, and the general view is that the two reciprocal causation. The pathogenesis of GAD with constipation is complex, the clinical efficacy of Western medicine is poor, and anti-anxiety drugs are easy to aggravate or induce constipation. However, under the guidance of the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine, the treatment of GAD with constipation with "brain intestinal homology" can take into account the multi-target of "brain" and "intestine",and break the vicious circle of anxiety and constipation. This paper combs and summarizes the theoretical connotation of "brain intestinal homology" and its application in GAD with constipation,in order to provide reference for the multi-dimensional diagnosis and treatment of GAD with constipation in clinic. |
