| Abstract

| [Objective] To explore the protective effect of Tongmai Yangxin Pills on doxorubicin induced acute cardiotoxicity mice.[Methods] Acute cardiotoxicity mice model induced by doxorubicin was established by single intraperitoneal injection of 20 mg/kg doxorubicin. The general conditions of mice DOX in blank control group,doxorubicin group,doxorubicin+Tongmai Yangxin Pill low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose groups were compared on day 3,day 7 and day 14 after DOX. Cardiac ultrasound,serum contents of CK,LDH,cTn-I and SOD and histopathological changes were observed.[Results] Compared with the blank control group,doxorubicin group mice weight loss,higher mortality,EF,FS value are reduced,serum CK,LDH values and serum cTn-I content is higher,lower serum SOD content,histopathological results show that the disordered arrangement of doxorubicin group mice cardiomyocytes,myofibril lost week of nuclear vacuoles and cytoplasmic vacuoles. Compared with doxoruxin group,the mortality and survival time of mice in Tongmai Yangxin Pills groups were decreased,the EF and FS values were increased,the serum CK and LDH values and the serum cTn-I content were decreased,and the serum SOD content was increased. The histopathological results showed that the degree of myocardial injury was gradually alleviated,the myocardial cells were more intact,and the myocardial tissue was significantly improved.[Conclusion] Tongmai Yangxin Pills can alleviate acute cardiotoxicity induced by doxorubicin. |
