| Abstract
|
| [Objective] To preliminarily analyze the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndromes and treatment methods of re-positive cases for coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) in Tianjin.[Methods] The TCM syndromes of 13 patients with re-positive cases for COVID-19 in Tianjin Haihe Hospital were investigated and the typical cases were analyzed.[Results] Compared with the universal characteristics and syndromes of COVID-19 in Tianjin, patients who rebounded positivity more were male, patients with younger age and mild or ordinary symptoms were more common. Nearly half of the patients were asymptomatic, the types of symptoms were significantly reduced compared with the first onset. The symptoms of dampness and turbidity such as thick and greasy tongue coating were significantly improved, but cough, dry throat and other symptoms of deficiency of both qi and yin were more common. It is suggested to use supplementing qi and nourishing yin combined with removing dampness and turbidity, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and the good curative effect has been achieved.[Conclusion] The grasp of the characteristics of TCM syndromes and the differentiation and treatment of re-positive cases of COVID-19 in Tianjin provide a reference for clinical practice. |
