| Abstract
|
| Thenormal structure of periodontal connective tissue in patients with maxillofacial tumor will be damaged by radiation after radiotherapy which damaged the defense system of periodontal mucosa and the fibers of elastic system,resulting in recurrent periodontitis and prolonged periodontitis. Western medicines therapeutic strategy on gingival tissue damage is mainly symptomatic treatment. According to the "yaxuan" of traditional Chinese medicine,we believe that disease location is gingiva,and it had close association with the function of large intestine,kidney,spleen and stomach. Treatments according to syndrome differentiation can make the prescription associate with zangfu organs and meridians by taking clearing heat and toxic and anti cancer and gingival protection as the main curative method. The application of the three drugs "Rhizoma cimicifugae,Coptis chinensis and Rehmannia glutinosa" as jiaoyao is understood as an expansion of the application of meridian tropism theory. What's more,it can ensure the smooth progress of subsequent treatment as scheduled. |
