| Abstract
|
| Aging is a life stage that involves many aspects including organs, cells and tissues, as well as various age-related diseases. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that kidney deficiency is closely related to aging, and tonifying kidney plays an important role in delaying aging. Traditional Chinese medicine can delay aging in multiple ways, multiple targets and multiple effects. This paper summarizes the mechanism of kidney-tonifying formulas and effective components of traditional Chinese medicine in delaying aging research by reviewing the literature. It can regulate oxidative stress, endoplasmic reticulum stress, apoptosis, immune response, stem cell proliferation and differentiation, and neuroprotection, so as to provide reference for the anti-aging research of traditional Chinese medicine. |
