Abstract
[Objective] To analyze the research hotspots and development frontiers in the field of tuina promoting nerve regeneration from 2000 to 2021.[Methods] CiteSpace5.7.R2 software was used to visually analyze the included literature.[Results] A total of 390 papers were screened and included in the study, and the number of papers published fluctuated and increased. A research team was formed, represented by authors such as YU Tianyuan and YAN Juntao, and there was less cooperation between teams; Beijing University of Chinese Medicine was the institution that published the most papers, and there were many institutional cooperation. Mainly cooperate with the same region; keyword analysis showed that the research in the field of massage to promote nerve regeneration is mainly in the field of disease, clinical treatment, and experimental mechanism.[Conclusion] Based on the visualization results, several relatively stable research teams have been formed, focusing on the peripheral nervous system as the main research hotspot. The mechanism of action of massage manipulation on the central nervous system and the scope of its clinical application require further research in the future.
