Abstract
|
[Objective] To insight into the changes of the main compounds' contents and β-glucuronidase activity of radix scutellariae under different drying conditions so as to investigate a suitable method for the habitat processing.[Methods] Samples of radix scutellariae by different drying methods were prepared, whose water loss rate, contents of main compounds and activity of β-glucuronidase were researched during the drying process.[Results] The contents of main index compounds in radix scutellariae under different drying conditions were basically consistent. Baicalin content satisfied the standard in the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. Besides, the β-glucuronidase activity of radix scutellariae decreased significantly with the increase of the processed temperature.[Conclusion] The effect of different drying methods on the contents of main ingredients in radix scutellariae is relatively negligible, while the elevated temperature can effectively inactivate the β-glucuronidase in radix scutellariae. Overall, this study provides guidance and reference for the habitat processing of radix scutellariae. |
