Abstract
|
[Objective] This study employed bibliometric tools to review the studies of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) intervention in oxidative stress in recent years, aiming to explore the research trends, status and hotspots at home and abroad. [Methods] The literature on the intervention of traditional Chinese medicine in oxidative stress was obtained by searching CNKI database and WOS. Visualization analysis was performed using Citespace 6.1.6R and Vosviewer1.6.18 software. A total of 4 739 Chinese literatures and 3 570 English literatures were included. [Results] The results showed that the number of published papers in this field had shown an overall upward trend in the past 30 years. Most of the research institutions were Chinese medicine universities, and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine had the largest number of published papers. Keyword analysis showed that the mechanism of TCM intervention in oxidative stress and its clinical application had been the focus of this field and continued to develop. The exploration of effective prescription formulation, clinical efficacy evaluation, acupuncture treatment,“ferroptosis”“autophagy” and other related frontier theories may become a new research hotspot, with important potential value. [Conclusion] The development prospect of this field is promising, but more high-quality clinical trials are still needed to promote the translation of existing results to the clinic,so as to improve the comprehensive clinical diagnosis and treatment model. |
