Abstract
    [Objective] To interpret the formulation process and content of the Diagnostic Criteria for Qi Deficiency and Toxin Stagnation of Chronic Ulcer (2021 Version), so as to help clinicians and researchers understand and apply the diagnostic criteria for chronic ulcer disease combined with syndrome of qi deficiency and toxin stagnation. [Methods] Based on the summary of the syndrome characteristics of chronic ulcer disease and the systematic review of the relevant diagnostic criteria of qi deficiency syndrome, after multidisciplinary expert group decision-making, multiple rounds of discussion and argument, dozens of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical, TCM syndrome and methodology experts participated in the development of the group standard of the China Association of Chinese Medicine Diagnostic Criteria for Qi Deficiency and Toxin Stagnation of Chronic Ulcer (2021 Version). [Results] The criteria was officially released on March 16th, 2021. The diagnostic mode of chronic ulcer was combining qi deficiency items, toxin stagnation items, tongue appearance or pulse appearance. [Conclusion] The Diagnostic Criteria for Qi Deficiency and Toxin Stagnation of Chronic Ulcer (2021 Version) determined the diagnostic index of qi deficiency and toxin stagnation of chronic ulcer and its weight assignment, in order to provide some reference for relevant personnel to carry out clinical trials of the syndrome of qi deficiency and toxin stagnation of chronic ulcer.
