Abstract

Urinary incontinence after prostate cancer surgery is a common complications,which seriously affects the physical and mental health of patients. The overall therapeutic effect of Western medicine is not ideal. Traditional Chinese medicine has played an important role in the treatment of urinary incontinence after prostate cancer surgery. Combined use of acupuncture and medicine rarely reported. Discussion on acupuncture combined with medicine in the treatment of post-prostatectomy incontinence from the theory of "removing turbid pathogenic and cultivating the middle burner",combine the "spring shrinking and relieving needle technique acupuncture method" for urination with tonifying the middle and benefiting qi method,guide medicine through acupuncture,regulate and use both methods,target the disease,and the curative effect is remarkable. Clinical practice has proved that combined use of acupuncture and medicine can effectively speed up the recovery of urinary continence in patients with urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy,providing inspiration and methods for clinicians and improving the quality of life of patients with urinary incontinence after prostate cancer surgery. |
