| Abstract

| The subacute or chronic disease stage of COVID-19 patients after passing through the acute stage is called Post-acute COVID-19 syndrome(PACS). patients with PACS are often accompanied by thrombosis,therefore,prevention and treatment of thrombosis has become an important direction in treating COVID-19 and improving the symptoms of PACS patients. According to traditional Chinese medicine,the main pathogenesis of thrombosis in PACS is stasis of blood caused by cold,dampness,heat and stasis,and its treatment is mainly on activating blood and resolving stasis,supplemented by clearing heat,tonifying deficiency and drying dampness. Therefore,this review elaborates the mechanisms related to inflammation,endothelial cell injury and platelet activation and elevated blood viscosity that cause thrombosis after COVID-19,and clarifies the targets of Chinese medicine to prevent and treat thrombosis in post-acute neocoronary pneumonia syndrome. So as to provide new ideas for the study of Chinese medicine to prevent and treat thrombosis in post-acute neocoronary pneumonia syndrome. |
