Abstract
|
Due to the complex pathogenesis of obstructive sleep apnea(OSA),the current treatment methods of Western medicine include general treatment(weight control, sleep posture change, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction, etc.),wearing continuous positive airway pressure ventilation(CPAP) or oral appliance(OA),etc. The treatment method is simple and has poor tolerance and compliance for mild and moderate patients. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has a unique understanding and treatment experience of this disease, and its clinical effect is obvious. With the OSA patients group has been growing, and the treatment plan of traditional Chinese medicine has gradually been paid attention to and made new progress. This article will systematically review the current treatment methods of OSA based on the knowledge of famous Chinese medicine experts and clinical diagnosis and treatment experience,in order to provide new ideas and methods for clinical application. |
