| Abstract

| As one of the typical clinical manifestations of diabetes nephropathy，proteinuria is not only the pathological product of diabetes nephropathy，but also the pathological factor. The phrase “scattered and collected” originates from the Suwen Zhizhenyao Dalun and plays an important role in guiding disease treatment in clinical practice. This article clarifies the meaning of “scattered collection” by tracing the origin of “scattered collection”，and discusses the etiology，pathogenesis and treatment of proteinuria in diabetes nephropathy with this theory. It provides new ideas and new methods for the treatment of diabetes nephropathy with traditional Chinese medicine. |
