Chronic cough belongs to the category of chronic cough, stubborn cough and internal injury cough, which has the characteristics of prolonged and recurrent disease in clinic, so it is very important for children with chronic cough to be treated by syndrome differentiation under the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine. According to the characteristics of chronic cough in children, it is considered that "disorder of vessels, disharmony of qi and blood" is the basis of chronic cough in children, and phlegm and blood stasis is the potential pathological factor of recurrent development of the disease. The disorder of vessels, the disharmony of qi and blood;pivotal key is obstructed, causing phlegm and blood stasis. Phlegm and blood stasis are easy to combine, block menstruation, and further aggravate the loss of qi and blood, resulting in a more serious cough in children, which leads to chronic cough in children. Therefore, the treatment should be based on the specific syndrome of children, regulate menstrual qi to harmonize qi and blood, and eliminate phlegm and blood stasis to restore menstrual qi.
