Abstract

Professor XIONG Jibai,a Master of traditional Chinese medicine,has achieved excellent therapeutic effects in the clinical application of Longdan Xiegan Decoction for diseases related to the head,face,five sense organs,liver and gallbladder,as well as cutaneous diseases along the pathway of zujueyin liver meridian. He believes that in the treatment process,it is necessary to have a thorough understanding of the pathways and physiological and pathological characteristics of zujueyin liver meridian and zushaoyang gallbladder meridian and emphasize the combination of disease and syndrome in treatment. By grasping the core pathogenesis of liver-gallbladder fire and liver-channel dampness-heat,he adjusts the herbal formula based on the concurrent symptoms and pays attention to preventing damage to the spleen and stomach caused by bitter and cold herbs. |
