Abstract
|
[Objective] This study systematically combs the ancient and modern literature related to cupping diagnosis, aiming at a comprehensive analysis and prospect of cupping diagnosis. [Methods] Taking the fifth edition of Zhonghua Yidian as the source of ancient literature retrieval, four Chinese literature databases, including CNKI,Wanfang database,VIP database, and China Biology Medicine Database, and four English literature databases, including Pubmed,Web of science,ScienceDirect, and Cochrane Library, were used as modern literature search sources. The ancient and modern literature related to cupping marks was sorted out. [Results] A total of 74 ancient literatures and 52 modern literatures meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included. The preliminary understanding and application of different extractions in ancient times and the understanding and application of cupping diagnosis in modern times were systematically summarized. [Conclusion] The modern application of cupping diagnosis is based on the understanding and application of ancient medical theory, which is in line with the thought of “governing exterior to infer interior” in traditional Chinese medicine theory. The in-depth study of cup-based diagnosis may provide a new perspective or expansion direction for traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment. |
