Abstract
[Objective] To analyze the research status and hot trends of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndromes in coronary heart disease using CiteSpace, and to provide reference for clinical applications. [Methods] We searched and collected research literatures on TCM syndromes of coronary heart disease from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) database,Wanfang Database,VIP database and China Biomedical Literature Database from its inception to April 2023. Then we used the visualization software CiteSpace5.5.R2 to draw scientific knowledge maps, and analyzed information such as publication output, authors, institutions and keywords. [Results] After screening,a total of 1 512 articles were included in the analysis. The annual publication output showed a fluctuating upward trend. The institutions with more publications were Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital,Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Institute of Basic Clinical Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine,China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and Guang’anmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. The authors with more publications were WANG Jie,MAO Jing yang,BI Yingfei,WANG Wei,WANG Xianliang,ZHANG Peng and HE Qingyong. The high-frequency keywords included “hypertension”“qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome”“clinical observation”“chest obstruction and heartache”“blood lipids”,etc.,and 11 clustering labels and 25 prominent words were generated. [Conclusion] Currently, the field of TCM syndrome research in coronary heart disease is constantly developing and a stable team has been formed. However, cooperation is mainly in universities and affiliated hospitals, and a large-scale and cross regional network of authors and institutions has not yet been formed. At present, research hotspots focus on syndrome elements, clinical efficacy, interventional treatment, and other aspects. However,TCM syndrome research mostly focuses on single symptom or single treatment method, lacking of systematic. Future research should pay more attention to the etiology and pathogenesis, and focus on exploring the TCM syndromes of coronary heart disease and their therapeutic effects on coronary heart disease from a holistic perspective.
