Abstract
Generalized anxiety disorder is a chronic mental illness, often manifested as anxiety, worry, tension,as well as the fear of daily events and problems, which seriously affects the work, study and daily life of the sick population. Based on the diagnostic criteria and clinical manifestations of generalized anxiety disorder, this study systematically summarized the methods and characteristics of animal models of generalized anxiety disorder, and also analyzed the clinical consistency of existing animal models,so as to provide reference for future relevant experimental studies. The results found that the clinical consistency of the existing animal models of generalized anxiety disorder was at a medium level, and there are few combined mold making methods of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine guided by traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type. The preparation of animal model consistent with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome is the key to explore the effectiveness and scientificity of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder, which is of great significance for the clinical treatment and treatment of generalized anxiety disorder.
