Abstract
|
[Objective] To systematically evaluate the clinical evidence of Xuebijing Injection in the treatment of viral pneumonia. [Methods] We search the Chinese and English databases to collect the clinical studies of Xuebijing Injection in the treatment of viral pneumonia. The search time limit was from the establishment of the database to July,2024. We selected the appropriate quality evaluation to adapt the design type included in the study and used R software to analyze Meta. [Results] A total of 8 articles were included, and the overall study quality was not elevated. Meta-analysis results showed that the Xuebijing Injection group had advantages in the improvement rate of symptoms(fever, fatigue, shortness of breath),physical and chemical indicators(leukocyte count, lymphocyte count,C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,tumor necrosis factor),disease outcome(length of stay in ICU,use rate of mechanical ventilation, use rate of non-invasive mechanical ventilation, weight conversion rate in 14 days, incidence rate of ARDS,incidence rate of septic shock) and other effective indicators. The difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in safety indexes between the two groups(P>0.05). [Conclusion] Xuebijing Injection is safe and effective in the treatment of viral pneumonia, but the research quality is low, which affects the reliability of the results. |
