Abstract
    Xinsuning(XSN) Capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine compound preparation for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. This article reviews the development of XSN from three aspects:clinical research,material basis research,and pharmacological mechanism research. This article comprehensively reviews the research progress and clinical application of XSN in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia. As an anti-arrhythmic Chinese patent medicine,XSN has shown significant efficacy and safety in the treatment of ventricular arrhythmia and preliminary potential in the treatment of atrial arrhythmia. Through multiple clinical trials and observations,XSN have demonstrated their potential in the treatment of ventricular and atrial arrhythmias as well as in alleviating related symptoms. The substance-based research on XSN reveals that its chemical composition is complex and diverse and that various components may exert a synergistic therapeutic effect. Pharmacological mechanism studies have shown that XSN exerts a comprehensive pharmacological effect on the treatment of arrhythmia through multi-component,multi-pathway,and multi-target mechanisms,protecting the heart,improving myocardial metabolism,and anti-arrhythmic effects. These research findings not only partially reveal the efficacy of XSN in clinical application but also provide new scientific evidence for the establishment of a quality control standard with a substance-based core. Future research should continue to explore the interactions between various single components of XSN and their specific effects on cardiac electrophysiology and metabolism,to fully understand its anti-arrhythmic mechanism and provide more precise guidance for clinical application.
