Abstract
|
Over the past three decades,evidence-based medicine(EBM) has achieved remarkable success and influenced various aspects of global medical development. EBM emphasizes that clinical decision-making should be grounded in the best available evidence and underscores the importance of assessing evidence quality. It promoted advancements in methodologies for producing and translating high-quality evidence. This has facilitated the alignment of clinical efficacy evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) with international standards. Research on evidence-based evaluation of TCM should not only adhere to internationally accepted principles but also align with the unique characteristics and needs of TCM. This paper delves into several fundamental methodological issues related to the production and translation of TCM evidence, including clinical value assessment, scientific measurement, fair comparison, and efficient translation. |
