Abstract

National traditional Chinese medicine master SHI Xuemin created “Xingnao Kaiqiao” acupuncture method for stroke. This acupuncture method is based on the theory of brain mansion attaches importance to the regulation and care of “spirit”. And the treatment is to wake up the brain and resuscitate the body,and replenish the essence and marrow. During the portent stage,the acute stage,recovery stage and sequela stage,different acupuncture prescripts are applied by academician SHI Xuemin such as “intensified Xingnao” acupuncture method,“weak Xingnao” acupuncture method,and the “spirit-regulating and intelligence-improving” acupuncture method,which are in great significance for the precise and personalized treatment of stroke. Regarding to the acupuncture manipulation,academician SHI Xuemin had specified detailed manipulation parameters,and paid attention to the “spirit response” process between patients and doctors at all stages of stroke,which has high acupuncture application value and clinical significance. In this article,we summarized the academic thought of SHI Xuemin,a master of traditional Chinese medicine,from the aspect of spirit in the treatment of stroke,expounded the time-space effect of acupuncture on stroke,and aimed to inspire acupuncturists to guide the clinic. |
