Abstract
|
[Objective] To explore the therapeutic effect of acupoint thread embedding with the regulating Sanjiao method and abdominal massage on patients with simple obesity. [Methods] From June 2022 to June 2023,patients with simple obesity who visited Wuhan ASIA General Hospital were randomly separated into a control group and a Chinese medicine group. The control group received treatment with Orlistat, while the Chinese medicine group received abdominal massage and acupoint embedding therapy with the regulating sanjiao method. The total effective rate, morphological indicators, traditional Chinese medicine syndromes, blood lipid levels, biochemical indicators, and untoward reactions were compared. [Results] The total effective rate of the Chinese medicine group(93.44%) was higher than that of the control group(80.33%,P<0.05). The body mass, waist circumference(WC),waist-hip ratio(WHR),and body mass index(BMI) of the Chinese medicine group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). The contents of high-density cholesterol(HDL-C) and adiponectin(ADP) in the Chinese medicine group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, contents of low-density cholesterol(LDL-C),total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),and neuropeptide Y(NPY) were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). untoward reactions were not different between the two groups(P>0.05). [Conclusion] The above traditional Chinese medicine therapy can effectively regulate lipid metabolism and improve morphological indicators in obese patients, with ideal results and high clinical application value. |
