Abstract
Acute myocardial infarction can minimize myocardial ischemic damage and limit the infarct size by thrombolysis, drugs that dilate blood vessels, and percutaneous coronary intervention, but restoration of blood perfusion of ischemic myocardial tissue will lead to myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury(MIRI). In recent years,it has found that traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) has the unique advantages of multi-component,multi-pathway and multi-target in the treatment of MIRI. Hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha(HIF-1α) plays an important role in promoting cell survival and recovery and reducing the degree of myocardial damage by regulating oxidative stress, inflammatory response, angiogenesis, apoptosis and autophagy during MIRI. Therefore, this paper summarized the relationship between HIF-1α signaling pathway and the pathogenesis of MIRI,as well as the current research progress of TCM in regulating HIF-1α signaling pathway to treat MIRI,in order to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of MIRI with TCM.
