Abstract
    Biochip is a miniaturized and integrated platform that can perform high-throughput and rapid analysis of biological samples. As a new biotechnology tool，biochip overcomes the limitations of traditional biological technology such as complicated operation，low automation，low detection efficiency，etc.，and has played an important role in biology，basic medicine，traditional Chinese medicine and other research fields in recent years. By reviewing the latest relevant literature at home and abroad，the article reviews the progress of biochip application in the evaluation of activity，mechanism of action，toxicity screening，and quality assessment of traditional Chinese medicine，with a view to providing new ideas for the research and popularization of the application of biochip in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.
