Abstract
    [Objective] To provide reference for physicians and researchers engaged in clinical practice and scientific research on diagnosis and treatment of carotid artery stenosis with traditional Chinese medicine. [Methods] A detailed interpretation was conducted on the core content of Guideline for Diagnosis and Treatment of Chinese Medicine in Carotid Stenosis(2024 Edition). [Results] Key aspects were elucidated,including diagnostic methods,stenosis severity assessment,risk factors,therapeutic principles,etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and treatment,application of Chinese patent medicines,as well as follow-up protocols and safety considerations. [Conclusion] These guidelines provide standardized recommendations for practitioners to apply traditional Chinese medicine in diagnosing and treating carotid artery stenosis.
