Abstract
Hyperspectral imaging technology is a novel image detection technology that can detect both visible spectral data and invisible near-infrared spectral data using a hyperspectral imager. It is fundamentally different from the color images taken by traditional cameras. With a wide spectral range, high resolution, and multi-channel characteristics,it can continuously image within a spectral range. The information provided is more multifaceted and three-dimensional. This technology has already been widely used in related fields. In recent years, hyperspectral imaging technology has been increasingly applied in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, offering advantages such as accuracy,non-invasiveness,and speed. In this paper,we review the principles and characteristics of hyperspectral imaging technology and the recent research progress in the field of traditional Chinese medicine. We also analyze the existing problems and project the future development prospects in the field of traditional Chinese medicine,in order to provide references for the in-depth exploration of the application of hyperspectral imaging technology in this field.
