Abstract
Atrial premature beats which refer to ectopic beats originating from the atria that occur earlier than the normal sinus rhythm are one of the common arrhythmias in clinical practice, and belong to the category of traditional Chinese medicine“palpitation”. Professor WENG Weiliang believes that the core pathogenesis is deficiency of qi and yin, malnutrition of heart spirit, liver qi stagnation and blood stasis. Therefore, the remarkable effect has been shown by the flexible application of reinforcing qi and nourishing yin, relieving depression and calming the mind, harmonizing the heart and liver, regulating qi and invigorating blood.
