Abstract
Objective To study and analyze the clinical effect of fire dragon pot moxibustion on postpartum depression and sleep disorder with deficiency of heart and spleen. Methods A total of 130 patients with postpartum depression and sleep disorder with deficiency of heart and spleen in our hospital from September 2023 to October 2024 were selected for the study. They were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, with 65 cases in both. Control group patients were given routine nursing intervention, observation group patients were given dragon pot comprehensive moxibustion treatment. The changes and differences of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome scores, negative emotions [self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS)], sleep quality [Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSOI)] and quality of life(GQOLI-74) were compared between the two groups. Results The results of repeated measurement ANOVA showed that the TCM syndrome scores, SAS and SDS scores of patients in the two groups at different time points had temporal effects, inter-group effects and interaction effects(P < 0.05). After 2 weeks of intervention, compared with the control group, the TCM syndrome scores, SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, compared with the control group, the TCM syndrome scores, negative emotion SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, compared with the control group, the sleep quality of observation group was better(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, compared with the control group, the quality of life in the observation group was better(P < 0.05).Conclusion For patients with postpartum depression combined with heart and spleen deficiency sleep disorders, the use of dragon pot comprehensive moxibustion treatment can effectively improve the patients' sleep disorders, improve sleep quality, and the patients' negative emotions can be effectively alleviated, and the quality of life can be improved.
