| Abstract
|
| To summarize the characteristics and ideas of Professor SUN Shentian’s treatment of Parkinson’s disease with acupuncture and moxibustion. Professor SUN Shentian, based on the etiology and pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease and anatomical structure, selected corresponding acupoints and used transcranial repetitive acupuncture techniques to address the root cause. Guided by the theory of the brain gut axis, abdominal acupuncture was used to regulate the balance of meridians,qi,and blood. It is believed that the key to stabilizing and improving therapeutic effects lies in the combination of acupoints. Firstly, the emotional area of the head acupoint is used to regulate the spirit of the brain, and secondly, the specific area of the abdominal acupuncture is used to regulate the spirit of the abdomen and brain. Emphasis is placed on the selection of electroacupuncture frequency and waveform, with a focus on low-frequency stimulation to enhance the stimulation effect and strengthen the transmission of meridians. |
