| Abstract
|
| [Objective] This study conducted a scientometric mapping analysis of research domains related to traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) Interventions for diabetic kidney disease(DKD) to examine the developmental trajectory, research hotspots, and emergent thematic trends over the past decade. [Methods] The periodical literature on the treatment of diabetic kidney disease with traditional Chinese medicine, published in four Chinese databases-CNKI,Wanfang Database,VIP and SinoMed-was retrieved as the focus of the research. CiteSpace was employed to conduct bibliometric analysis and create a visual knowledge map. [Results] A total of 1 399 relevant literature were included, and the number of publications in the past four years has shown an upward trend. The author collaboration map included a total of 4 863 authors, among whom 160 core authors contributed 581 papers, accounting for 41.53% of the total publications. The teams of CHEN Zhiqiang-FANG Jing(et al.),WANG Yaoxian-SONG Chundong,ZHAO Jinxi,XIE Yiqiang,LIU Hongfang,SHI Yan,PANG Xinxin,XU Jiangyan, and GUO Dengzhou are the main research teams in this field. The institution collaboration map included a total of 1 284 institutions. The main research institutions were centered in Beijing and distributed in Hebei,Henan,Nanjing and other places, including universities of traditional Chinese medicine and their affiliated hospitals. Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Hebei University of Chinese Medicine were the institutions with the most publications, while Henan University of Chinese Medicine was the main contributor in the past two years. The keyword co-occurrence map included a total of 534 keywords, forming 20 clusters, several emerging keywords, and 22 burst words. [Conclusion] The number of publications in this field is currently in an upward trend, and the core author group has not yet formed. The common research approach of large teams is to inherit TCM theories, classic prescriptions, and the experience of renowned TCM practitioners, focusing on formulating characteristic empirical prescriptions for a single syndrome type or stage, conducting high-quality machine learning, bioinformatics analysis, animal experiments, clinical verification, and theoretical summarization. The mechanisms involved in DKD research are complex and diverse, and the research methods are also different. “Oxidative stress” and “podocytes” are frequency words used in this field, while “fibrosis” “pyroptosis” “network pharmacology” and “experience” are more prominent. |
