Abstract
[Objective] This paper systematically combs and analyzes the current situation, research characteristics and hot trends of basic research related to honeysuckle extract in China, and provides hot perspective and future R&D investment suggestions for basic research related to honeysuckle extract. [Methods] CNKI,Wanfang Data,VIP,SinoMed and other databases were searched for literatures on basic research related to honeysuckle extract. The search period was from the establishment of the database to July 2023. CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were used to analyze the authors and institutions, keyword clustering,co-occurrence and emergence of the included studies, and to draw a visual map. [Results] A total of 23 264 articles were included, and the number of articles published showed an upward trend. Peaking in 2013 with 723 publications, among which ZHANG Yongqing was the most prolific author with the largest number of articles. Research institutions are mainly medical universities and research institutes;the research hotspots mainly focus on chemical composition, pharmacological action, compatibility of traditional Chinese medicine and quality control. [Conclusion] Through the visual analysis of the basic research related to honeysuckle extract,it is concluded that the pharmacological effects remain a long-term research focus, while studies on medication patterns and herb compatibility through data mining will be future hotspots.
