| Abstract
|
| Diabetes mellitus and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease are clinically common metabolic disorders with closely interrelated pathogenesis, often occurring as comorbidity. The “pathogenesis-syndrome-treatment” theoretical framework provides significant guidance for understanding the development and clinical management of metabolic diseases. This article explores the application of this framework in diabetes-fatty liver comorbidity through syndrome elements including dampness, heat, stasis, toxin, and deficiency, analyzing Professor NAN Zheng’s clinical experience, thereby providing new insights and methods for future clinical management of comorbidity. |
