| Abstract

| Curculigo orchioides Gaertn. is a commonly used traditional Chinese medicine in clinical practice with a warm or hot nature，a spicy or sweet taste and the functions of strengthening kidney yang，strengthening tendons and bones，and dispelling cold and dampness. It is widely used in clinical practice to treat weakness，jaundice，asthma，impotence，and paralysis of the limbs，etc.There have been reports in the literature that Curculigo orchioides Gaertn. has certain anti-tumor activity，and its main components such as phenolic compounds，phenolic glycosides，triterpenoid saponins，flavonoids，and polysaccharides have all been reported to have some relevance. This review summarizes the anti-tumor related research on the phenolic compounds，phenolic glycosides，triterpenoid saponins，flavonoids，and polysaccharides of Curculigo orchioides Gaertn.，providing some references for the subsequent research on the anti-tumor effects of Curculigo orchioides Gaertn.，and also providing new ideas for clinical use of Curculigo orchioides Gaertn. in the treatment of tumor. |
