| Abstract
|
| Professor GUO Chengjie posits that hepatic dysfunction in coursing and discharge constitutes the core pathogenesis of hypomenorrhea, which subsequently induces pathological factors such as qi stagnation, blood stasis,phlegm-dampness,and blood deficiency. Consequently,in clinical practice,he advocates for a liver-focused therapeutic approach, employing “dredging, regulating, and tonifying” as the central treatment principle to facilitate qi movement, eliminate pathogenic factors, and reinforce deficiency. The treatment emphasizes the integration of acupuncture and herbal medicine to achieve the therapeutic effect of promoting robust qi and blood circulation as well as replenishing their source. Clinical evidence demonstrates the remarkable efficacy of this methodology. |
