| Abstract
|
| Mild cognitive impairment(MCI) is a transitional state between normal aging and Alzheimer’s disease(AD). Acupuncture and combined treatment mainly treat MCI by reducing amyloid β-protein(Aβ) deposition, inhibiting hyperphosphorylation of Tau protein, inhibiting neuroinflammation and inhibiting oxidative stress. The cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP)-protein kinase A(PKA)-cAMP responsive element binding protein(CREB) pathway has the characteristics of multi-link,multi-pathway and multi-target regulation of MCI,which is closely related to the improvement of neurodegenerative changes by acupuncture and combined treatment. Based on the cAMP/PKA/CREB signaling pathway, this paper reviews the related mechanisms of acupuncture and combined therapy in the prevention and treatment of MCI,in order to provide ideas for basic and clinical research on MCI in the future. |
