Abstract
Cancer is a major public health problem that poses a serious threat to public health. Current standard treatments, including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapies, remain limited in terms of efficacy and safety. Existing studies suggest that traditional Chinese medicine,as an adjuvant therapy, can enhance treatment efficacy and reduce therapy-related adverse events when combined with standard care. Zhenqi Fuzheng Granule(ZQFZ),a widely used traditional Chinese medicine formulation among cancer patients, exerts multiple functions including strengthening vital qi,enhancing immune function, modulating the gut microbiota, and alleviating the side effects of chemotherapy. Based on the traditional Chinese medicine principle of “strengthening the body’s resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors”,this paper systematically reviews the traditional Chinese medicine theoretical foundation of ZQFZ in cancer treatment, its active anti-tumor components and pharmacological effects,as well as current clinical research progress, with the aim of providing theoretical support and practical reference for optimizing integrated traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine strategies in cancer therapy.
