Abstract: |
There are a large number of elderly people in China with weak immune function, who are susceptible to and high-risk for the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP). The elderly are more seriously ill after infection, and most of the patients who died are the elderly. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of NCP in the elderly and the reduction of new cases and deaths are crucial to the fight against this epidemic. The curative effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the treatment of novel coronavirus pneumonia has already appeared, but the preventive and rehabilitative effects of traditional Chinese medicine need to be further strengthened. In view of the special physiological and pathological characteristics of the elderly, the author's research team, under the support of the national "973" project, has proved that the elderly's "kidney essence" is obviously insufficient, resulting in "kidney essence deficiency",the body's immune system function is low, stem cell proliferation and differentiation function is decreased, and "kidney tonifying and essence filling method" can play a role in disease prevention and treatment by regulating this state. Therefore,in the process of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the prevention and treatment of NCP in the elderly, the appropriate use of "kidney tonifying and essence filling method" to regulate the state of "kidney essence" can play an important role in "prevention before disease onset","preventing disease from exacerbating" and "prevention of the recrudescence of diease". For the elderly who have not been infected with the virus or the elderly who have not developed disease in the isolation period,we can strengthen the kidney and strengthen the body to prevent the disease or the ordinary elderly patients,we should mainly eliminate pathogenic factors,if the symptoms can not be controlled,"epidemic pathogenic factors" are easy to "fushaoyin",we should tonifying the kidneys, strengthen the body and relieving the evil, and the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine to prevent the transmission of "truncate and reverse" disease. For the elderly patients in the recovery period, the "epidemic evil" has gone, and the main purpose is to tonify the kidneys and rehabilitate. However, for the elderly patients with severe and critical diseases,it is necessary to use it carefully according to the actual situation of the patients. |
