Abstract: |
Through combing the research on the etiology and pathogenesis of acne in traditional Chinese and western medicine, and commenting on the pathogenesis of acne, we can more comprehensively understand and improve the clinical efficacy of acne and provide ideas for the treatment of acne with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine. Chinese medicine believes that the etiology of acne is related to the exogenous pathogenic wind and lung meridian heat;accumulation of damp heat and phlegm stasis;toxic heat phlegm and yin deficiency of liver and kidney;disorder of Chong and Ren. Western medicine believes that the main pathogenesis of acne is related to immune imbalance, the role of P.acnes, inflammatory factors, androgen, hair follicle sebaceous duct abnormalities and heredity. Traditional Chinese medicine mostly adopts syndrome differentiation and typing to treat acne, although the curative effect is remarkable, there is no standard research method and it is difficult to reach a consensus;western medicine services often use a class of vitamin A and external antibiotics combined with hormone ointment to treat acne, but it is easy to relapse after drug withdrawal. The author thinks, the treatment of acne should be integrated with traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, which can better improve the clinical efficacy. |
