Abstract:
Endophytic fungi had formed a mutually beneficial symbiosis relationship with host plants through long-term evolution. Plants could provide nutrients for growth of endophytic fungi. Endophytic fungi could regulate the level of plant hormones in the host plant,so as to play a role in regulating plant growth and assisting host plants to resist harsh environment. It also promoted the accumulation of secondary metabolites of host plants and produced secondary metabolites which were similar to those of host plants. This article combed the process of phytohormone synthesis in endophytic fungi, and the related research on the regulation of plant hormone levels by endophytic fungi was summarized, which could regulate the growth of host plants, assiste the host to resist environmental stress, produce secondary metabolites similar to host plants and induce the accumulation of secondary metabolites in host plants. So as to provide a reference for the follow-up study of the interaction between endophytic fungi and host plants and the research of Chinese medicine resources.
