Abstract: |
Slow transit constipation(STC) is constipation caused by slow intestinal peristalsis and slow fecal transmission, mainly manifested as difficult defecation, reduced defecation times, endless defecation feeling, accompanied by abdominal distension, abdominal pain and other symptoms. It is a relatively common type of constipation, and its pathogenesis has not been fully explained. As the basis of the gastrointestinal tract conduction slow wave signal, Cajal interstitial cell(ICC) is closely related to STC, which is a focus of research in recent years. Changes in the number, distribution, function, and structure of ICC will all affect gastrointestinal motility, among which the reduction of ICC is the main cause of STC pathogenesis. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) intervenes the signaling pathways related to ICC proliferation through syndrome differentiation, regulates ICC number, regulates autophagy, is anti-apoptosis, promotes gastrointestinal peristalsis, and alleviates constipation symptoms. This paper summarizes the experimental signal pathways and single TCM, TCM compound and acupuncture and massage, in order to provide ideas for the clinical treatment of slow transmission constipation. |
