Abstract:
Metabolic reprogramming is one of the most important characteristics of cancer. Recent studies have shown that glutamine metabolism is involved in the malignant proliferation, invasion and metastasis of cancer cells, and also promotes the formation of new blood vessels in tumors, which is one of the important strategies to target cancer energy metabolism and has become a research hotspot in the field of anti-tumor. In recent years, it has been found that traditional Chinese medicine can participate in the tumorigenesis and development by regulating glutamine metabolism. Based on this, this paper reviewed the characteristics and regulatory mechanisms of glutamine metabolism in tumor cells, and discussed the intervention effect of traditional Chinese medicine on glutamine metabolism, which provided inspiration for targeting glutamine metabolism in the treatment of cancer.
